Three days later, Mary, the mother of Jesus, was at the house of wedding feast in the village of Cana in Galilee. Jesus and his disciples have also been invited and were there. When the wine was all gone, Mary said to Jesus, “They don’t have any more wine.” Jesus replies, “Mother, my time hasn’t yet come! You must not tell me what to do” (John 2:1-4).

Augustine met with Bishop Ambrose and freed from Manichaeism and came to faith in Christ. His mother Monica prayed a lot for her son to come back to God. He was persuaded by the Word of God: “So behave properly, as people do in the day. Don’t go to the wild parties or get drunk or be vulgar or indecent. Don’t quarrel or be jealous. Let the Lord Jesus Christ be near to you as the clothes you wear”(Roman 13:13-14).
