“전에 고통받던 자들에게는 흑암이 없으리로다. 옛적에 여호와께서 스블론 땅과 납달리 땅이 멸시를 당하게 하셨더니 후에는 해변 길과 요단 저쪽 이방의 갈릴리를 영화롭게 하셨느니라. 흑암에 행하던 백성이 큰 빛을 보고 사망의 그늘진 땅에 거주하던 자에게 빛이 비치도다.”(사 9:1-2) 소망을 찾아 볼 수 없는 절망적인 어둠의 세상과 인생들에게 구원과 생명의 빛을 밝히기 위해, 오신 한 아기, 예수 그리스도를 통해 구원을 이루시는 하나님의 열심을 깨닫습니다.
어둠을 밝히는 참 빛으로 오신 예수님!
구원하고 살리기 위해, 아기의 몸을 입고 오셔서, 생명과 평화의 빛이 되어주심을 찬양 드립니다.
죄로 뿌린 씨가 맺은 열매로 고통을 받아야 했던 흑암의 땅에 살면서 어둠을 밝히는 참 빛이신 예수 그리스도를 온전히 모시지 못했음을 고백합니다. 죄로 인해 하나님과 원수 되었던 저희를 화평의 관계로 회복시켜 주시는 빛으로 인해 잃어버린 기쁨과 평강을 회복하게 하여 주시옵소서.
흑암을 밝히는 주님의 빛의 조명 가운데, 믿음의 걸음을 걸으며, 영원한 기쁨의 나라, 영원한 평화의 나라에 들어가기를 소원하오니, 빛 되신 주님을 더욱 사모하여 항상 제 안에 모시고, 그 빛을 나누는 복된 성탄이 되게 하여 주시옵소서. 예수 그리스도 이름으로 기도합니다. 아멘
Jesus who came down as the brightest light of grace!
"Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the future he will honor Galilee of the Gentiles, by the way of the sea, along the Jordan -- The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned" (Isaiah 9:1-2).
Jesus who came down to light the darkness!
Praise our God for coming down to this world as a human being to save our lives and to be our light.
We confess that we did not sincerely serve You, Lord. You came to light up this world but we were away from You. Please restore us. Help us to gain back our relationship with You.
Let us walk under Your light that shines the darkness. We want to enter into the eternally joyful kingdom with You. So allow us to serve You in our hearts at all times. Help us to share Your light with the rest of the world and help us to spend meaningful Christmas. We pray in Jesus name. Amen.
