오늘 하나님께 나오신 모든 분들을 주님의 이름으로 환영합니다. 우리를 인도해주신 성령님께 감사드립니다. 우리를 너무도 사랑하셔서 십자가에서 피 흘리신 주님은 지금도 말씀하십니다.
“수고하고 무거운 짐 진 자들아, 다 내게로 오라. 내가 너희를 쉬게 하리라.”(마11:28)
하나님의 관심은 온통 우리들입니다. 하나님이 우리를 영원토록 사랑하시기 때문입니다. 성경에 오라는 말이 무려 1,900번이나 나옵니다. 이것이 하나님의 심정입니다. 하나님이 가장 기뻐하시는 모습은, 집 나갔던 아들이 다시 아버지께로 돌아오는 장면입니다.
어느 교회 주일학교 어린이가 죽어가고 있었습니다. 주님을 사랑했던 이 어린이는 예수님을 믿지 않고 있던 자기 아버지에게 죽어가면서 마지막 한 번 더 호소를 했습니다. “아버지, 저는 천당가요. 그러니 아버지 예수님 믿으세요.” 그러나 자식의 절규를 들으면서도 이 아버지는 아무 대답이 없었습니다. 침묵했습니다. 적막한 시간이 흐른 후 아들이 아버지에게 마지막으로 질문합니다. “아빠, 주님 앞에 가서 아빠가 왜 예수님을 안 믿는다고 말씀드릴까요?”
사랑하는 내 남편(아내), 사랑하는 내 부모님, 사랑하는 내 자식, 사랑하는 내 친구가 예수님을 믿지 않고 있다는 사실은 가장 가슴아픈 일입니다. 우리는 머지 않아 이별해야 하고, 이 세상도 언젠가는 사라지고 말 것이기 때문이지요.
그래서 하나님은 우리에게 끊임없이 오라고 초청하십니다. 천국을 예비해놓으시고, 잔치를 준비하신 하나님은 참석하라고 간곡히 말씀하십니다. 예수님은 이러한 상황을 리얼하게 얘기하셨습니다(눅14:15~24). 백악관에 초청되려면 자격조건이 까다롭지만, 하나님은 누구든지 예수님을 믿기만 하면 올 수 있다고 하십니다. 돈이 없어도, 배우지 못했어도, 외모가 아름답지 못해도, 옷이 없어도 괜찮다고 하십니다. 예수님은 우리가 천국에 가면 “거할 곳이 많다.”고 하셨습니다. 주님은 세상을 떠나가기 전, 제자들에게 알려주셨습니다. “내 아버지 집에거할 곳이 많도다. …내가 너희를 위하여 처소를 예비하러 가노니 가서 너희를 위하여 처소를 예비하면 내가 다시 와서 너희를 내게로 영접하여 나 있는 곳에 너희도 있게 하리라.”
(요14:2-3)
사람들은 교회 가지 못하는 이유를 여러가지로 말합니다. 사업이 잘 돼서, 골프약속때문에, 결혼식 준비 때문에, 피로감 때문에……. 요한계시록 마지막 장에는 다음과 같은 말씀이 있습니다. “성령과 신부가 말씀하시기를 오라 하시는도다. 듣는 자도 오라 할 것이요, 목마른 자도 올 것이요, 또 원하는 자는 값없이 생명수를 받으라 하시더라.”(계22:17) 하나님은 초대에 응한 우리에게 영원한 생명을 주십니다. 조건없는 사랑을, 절대적 평안을, 완전한 용서를, 샘솟는 기쁨을, 가장 좋은 선물을 주십니다. 초대에 응한 우리는 하나님의 행복한 가족입니다.

I thank everyone who walked out to God in the name of our lord Jesus Christ. Thank you for leading us to the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ, who sacrificed himself on the cross because of love toward us, still speaks, “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28) God’s attention is all about us because God loves us forever. There is nearly 1900 times of “come” appears in bible. This is the mind of God. God was most pleased when he sees a son who left the house coming back to his father.
One church Sunday school student was dying. The kid who loved the Lord Jesus Christ was asking last appeal to his father who did not believed in Christ. “Father, I am going to heaven. So you should believe Jesus Christ.” But his father did not answer to his children’s desperate cries. He kept his silence. After the silence, the kid asked to his father for his last question. “Father, what should I say in front of our Lord for reason of you not believing Jesus Christ?” fact that my dear husband (wife), dear parents, my beloved child, my friends is not believing Jesus Christ is most painful thing to know. We have to break soon, and this world will vanish one day.
So God constantly invites us to his world. He pre-set heaven, prepare a banquet, and God asks us earnestly to attend. Jesus expressed these situations detailed (Luke 14:15~24). To be eligible to be invited in the White house, there are extreme amounts of requirements to follow, but God said anyone who believes in Jesus Christ is welcomed. One without money, uneducated, not looking good, without clothes is welcomed. Christ said when we go to heaven, “In my Father's house are many rooms”. He told the disciples before he left the world. “In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am.” (John 14:2-3)
People mentions various reasons for not attending to the church. I am busy with my business, because of golf meeting, preparation for wedding, because of fatigue……. In last chapter of Revelations the following words exists. “The Spirit and the bride say, "Come!" And let him who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come; and whoever wishes, let him take the free gift of the water of life.”(Revelation 22:17) God gives endless life to whom responds to his invitation. He gives us unconditional love, absolute peace, complete forgiveness, unlimited happiness and best presents. Us who responded to invitation is God’s blessed family.
