빌보드지, 2000년대 최고의 크리스천 뮤직 선정

미국 최대의 음악지인 빌보드 매거진이 2000년대를 결산하며 최고의 아티스트와 음악을 선정했다. 이 가운데 크리스천 뮤직 분야에서는 최고의 아티스트로 머씨미(MercyMe)가 선정됐으며, 최고의 앨범에는 P.O.D.의 ‘Satellite’, 최고의 곡으로는 역시 머씨미의 ‘Word of God Speak’이 영예를 차지했다. 가스펠 분야에서는 욜란다 애덤스(Yolanda Adams)가 앨범 ‘Mountain High…Valley Low – Yolanda Adams’로 최고의 앨범 아티스트에 선정됐다.

이외에도 캐스팅크라운즈(Casting Crowns), 크리스 탐린(Chris Tomlin), 토비 맥(TobyMac), 커크 프랭클린(Kirk Franklin) 등 한국에서도 친숙한 아티스트들이 최고의 리스트에 이름을 올렸다.
