Pastor of Children's Ministry (K-5th, Part-Time)
Responsibilities:
• Overseeing, growing and coordinating church’s elementary department with a supervision of Education Pastor
• Preaching on Sunday worship service and Friday night meeting
• Designing, overseeing and examining curriculum for Bible studies, events and programs
• Providing counsel and support concerning children’s spiritual growth
• Leading Bible study regularly
• Organizing yearly activities, including but not limited to VBS, retreats, lock-ins, outings and Christmas event
• Recruiting and training Sunday school teachers
• Developing relationships with parents to assist their children’s spiritual growth
• Attending and participating in pastoral staff meetings
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Biblical Studies or related areas of study
• Master’s degree from an accredited seminary is preferred
• Proficient understanding of challenges and needs of children (K-5th)
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills (Must be fluent in English)
• Excellent organizational skills
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bilingual in English/Korean (preferred but not required)
• 1 -2 years of experience in children's ministry is preferred
Compensation: Negotiable based on experience
